How we started

Built to be the manager we wished we had.

Northern began in 2011 with one small building and a simple frustration. The big management companies treated owners like account numbers and residents like tickets in a queue.

We thought a rental could be run better by people who actually live down the road. So we kept the portfolio regional, hired locally, and built the kind of reporting we would want as owners ourselves.

Twelve years on, we look after thousands of homes across the region, and we still answer the phone the same way.
